Selda Parın, who has successfully held sales, solution management, and general management roles at leading technology companies throughout her 30-year career, was appointed as the General Manager of SYS as of July 2024.
Parın, who takes over the position from Tümer Gürkök, will lead the development and execution of company strategies in line with SYS's growth strategy and objectives.
SYS Chairman Tümer Gürkök commented on the appointment: "We are going through a period where the needs in customer interaction technologies are diversifying and changing rapidly. Who is Selda Parın?
Selda Parın graduated from Yıldız Technical University's Electronics and Communication Engineering Department and began her career in technology in 1990.
She held various sales and technical team management roles in different institutions until 2000. Parın then decided to continue her career at Nortel Netaş, where she served as Sales Manager until 2006.
In 2006, Parın continued her career journey with Avaya, serving as a senior sales executive for 10 years.
In 2016, she rejoined the Netaş Corporate Markets Business Unit, where she successfully held positions as Director of Corporate Markets Solutions, Executive Board Member responsible for Solution and Project Management, and General Manager of Corporate Markets. Most recently, she worked as the Deputy General Manager responsible for sales at Cyberwise.
